chp issued these wind advisories this morning. they are still in effect for a number of bridges including the ones you see there on the screen, carquinez bridge, benicia, dumbarton, bay bridge and the altamont pass all affected by those high wind advisories so two hands on the steering wheel, be careful if you are about to start off on your morning drive. traveling the nimitz freeway, this is what it looks like near the oakland coliseum. taillights are moving northbound, near hayward, san leandro, everything is fine and by oakland airport and continues that way into your downtown oakland exits. that's why that drive time still looks good, 15 minutes between 238 and the maze. southbound traffic also moves fine all the way down to 92. if you are crossing the san mateo bridge, we didn't see a high wind advisory in effect here but you can see traffic is still very light leaving hayward and heading out over the high-rise. if you have any questions about your morning drive once you hit the roads, remember kcbs when you hit the roads at
